paharnama: Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India; Jayprakash is a visual anthropologist, journalist and a filmmaker. He has more than 15 years of experience in the respective fields. JP is a professional writer and editor, contributed in around 1 dozen books, magazines and news letters, 1000 articles and photo features in national & international media. He has an experience of scripting, conceptualization and direction of more than 70 documentaries, films, short films, advertisement films, contributed and produced 48 radio programs and visual documentation of many organizations including government as well as non-government. He is an alumnus (Master of New Media Arts with specialization in Digital Film Production) of the Australian National University (ANU), Canberra, Australia; also did ‘Filmmaking’ course at University of Melbourne, Australia. He is a recipient of prestigious Ford Foundation International Media Fellowship and an alumnus of India Fellowship Program – India Alumni Network (IFPIAN), New Delhi.
